United States vs Venezuela International Friendly – Watch Live Online, TV Schedule June 3, 2017

This Saturday, June 3, 2017 (7:00 PM Pacific) The United States will host Venezuela in an international friendly match at the Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah. The match should be interesting with both teams presenting strong rosters for the encounter.

The USA will have the advantage with the better roster and the home-field advantage in an intimate atmosphere at the Rio Tinto Stadium. The lone player that will be absent for Bruce Arena in the encounter will be Sporting KC defender, Matt Besler. The Americans will count with some very talented players like John Brooks, Geoff Cameron, Tim Ream, DeAndre Yedlin, Fabian Johnson, Christian Pulisic and Bobby Wood who all play in Europe. Pulisic, of course, being the most enticing name because of the outstanding season he had with Borussia Dortmund and because of his massive potential.

The American team will have a strong MLS presence with players like Clint Dempsey and Darlington Nagbe being among the most interesting but will also have Liga MX players on the roster. The three Americans who play across the border on the squad are Omar Gonzalez of Pachuca, Jorge Villafana of Santos Laguna and Paul Arriola of Club Tijuana. This United States team is very formidable and should be able to win this encounter against a tricky South American opponent.

Venezuela does not have the same quality of players on its roster but still counts with some players that play in Europe and even one MLS player. Most of the South American team does play domestically but there will be some players who play in Europe, Salomon Rondon of West Bromwich Albion leading the way. The lone MLS player on Venezuela will be Real Salt Lake midfielder, Jefferson Savarino who is an exciting player that is just 20 years old.

Most of the players on La Vinotinto are young but can present a threat with the abundance of pace and youth on the roster. The head coach, Rafael Dudamel will not be on the sidelines for the game as he is in Korea for the U20 World Cup. The match should be interesting and it is an encounter that the Americans should be able to take with ease.
