West Ham interested in German international striker; £10.4million asking price

According to reports, West Ham are interested in luring German striker Max Kruse from Werder Bremen this summer.

After joining Die Werderaner last summer, the 29-year-old Kruse has impressed, scoring 15 goals and providing several assists from 23 appearances.

Considering the impact of Kruse for the club this season, it is unlikely that Bremen will ideally want to lose the forward.

However there is a reported agreement between the player and club which suggests that should a bid in the region of £10.4 million arrive, the German international will be allowed to believe.

This sum of money is well within the spending capabilities of West Ham. The Hammers are expected to do a lot of shopping this summer as they look to improve upon their disappointing season.

Considering that Kruse has done well this season whereas the Hammers have been disappointing in front of goal, he would be a good signing for the East London club.
