Veteran forward Jermain Defoe has admitted that he has not made a decision about his future amid interest from Bournemouth and West Ham.
The 34-year-old added that he is currently focusing on his England national team duties.
Defoe told Sky Sports, “At the minute, to be honest, there has been loads of speculation about me going to this club, that club and a lot of stuff about Bournemouth.
“I’ve just kept my head down because I want to try and focus on England and the two England games coming up, whether I play or not, just to be around the team and trying to enjoy it.”
Defoe is likely to find a new club from the Premier League this summer following Sunderland’s relegation from the top flight.
Though reports over the past few days have suggested that Defoe agreed deal with Bournemouth, his comments appear to suggest that no formal deal has been reached.
There could still be a chance that West Ham, who tried to sign the England international during the January transfer window, could complete a deal.
