Celtic star Scott Sinclair has admitted that he has been surprised by his team’s unbelievable successes this term as they won the treble in only Brendan Rodgers first season in charge.

Sinclair said of Celtic’s performances this season, “It’s worked out better than I expected/ For me it was to come up here to be happy, playing every week under a manager that believes in me and get my football back on track, which I have.

“And it’s been unbelievable, especially being at a club like Celtic, playing games and setting some history”.

The Bhoy’s victory over Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup final on Saturday takes the club to 47 matches unbeaten domestically.

After spells with Manchester City, Chelsea, Aston Villa and Swansea, Sinclair never really displayed consistent form. Upon his move to Celtic however, he has begun churning out good performances on a regular basis.

The 28-year-old Sinclair contributed 25 goals to his club this season and was named as Celtic Player of the year.
