Manchester United and Chelsea are reportedly in a battle to sign Everton’s £100 million rated star Romelu Lukaku.
Chelsea are in need of a prolific forward as there is a strong chance that Diego Costa may join the Chinese Super League this summer.
United also need a new forward given that their first choice forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic is 35 and approaching the end of his career.
Lukaku is keen to leave Everton as he wishes to play for a team that offers him Champions League football.
It has been rumored that the Belgium international wishes to prove himself at Stamford Bridge after an unsuccessful first stint with the club. During his first stint with Chelsea, Lukaku played 15 matches in all competitions and failed to score a goal.
By selling Costa to a Chinese club, Chelsea may also be able to raise funds to outbid United.
