According to reports West Ham are willing to offer Sunderland £17 million plus goalkeeper Adrian in exchange for shot-stopper Jordan Pickford.
The Hammers are searching for a new goalkeeper to challenge for their first choice position after both Adrian and Darren Randolph proved to be inconsistent this season.
Despite the Black Cats being relegated from the Premier League this past season; Pickford was on sparkling form for the club and managed to earn himself a nomination for the PFA Young Player of the year award which was eventually won by Dele Alli.
It is hard to see the 23-year-old Pickford staying at Sunderland next season as he is sure to want to remain in the Premier League and will not be short of offers.
This deal will be good for Sunderland. They will receive a much needed income boost and also get Adrian, who is a goalkeeper who has proven that he can deliver quality performances at the highest level as he did while helping West Ham to seventh position in the Premier League standings during the 2015-16 season.
