Celtic captain Scott Brown has revealed that the current Celtic squad is the best that he has played with during his ten year spell with the club.
The Bhoys claimed a 2-1 win over Aberdeen on Saturday in the Scottish Cup final to complete the treble for this season after also winning the Scottish Premiership and League Cup.
The 31-year-old Brown said, “For the 10 years I’ve been here this is best bunch, the most determined bunch of lads I’ve ever played with.”
Brendan Rodgers men also made history this season as they became the first team ever to complete the treble without losing a game.
No other Scottish club really proved threat to Celtic’s dominance this over the campaign. Aberdeen, who were their opponents in Saturday’s cup final, were also their nearest rivals in the League standings but ended up finishing a massive 30 points behind the Hoops.
There is no doubt that the Bhoys will be aiming to emulate this success next season as well.
