Everton target Davy Klaasen has commented about his future amid speculation that he could leave current club Ajax this summer.
Ajax endured a disappointing season after losing the Europa League final to Manchester United last week and also being eclipsed by Feyenoord to the Dutch Eredivisie title.
The 24-year-old however, has performed impressively as skipper of his club and has attracted the interest of a host of clubs.
Whilst speaking to Dutch newspaper Trouw about a possible transfer, Klaasen said, “I think no-one would blame me. But I want everyone to have a good feeling.”
Klaasen is at a stage of his career where he may fancy a new challenge particularly in the Premier League where he can compete against the best names in world football on a regular basis.
The prospect of playing under fellow Dutchman Ronald Koeman must also be appealing, hence a deal is on the cards.
