Leeds United reportedly could be set for whopping £20million transfer

Leeds United striker Chris Wood is reportedly a £20 million target of a number of Premier League clubs including Southampton, West Ham, Swansea and Stoke.

Though Leeds missed out on a place in the Championship playoffs, Wood was in prolific form this season, finishing as the Championship top scorer with 27 strikes to his name.

It will be a difficult task for the Whites to keep their star forward at the club and at 25, he will also fancy that the time is right to step up to the Premier League.

His performances and goals in the Championship have proven that he does have the potential to perform at the highest level.

It would be a massive surprise if the New Zealand international remains at Elland Road next season.  Considering that his current deal runs until 2019, the Yorkshire outfit can expect to cash in from a sale and will not lose Wood cheaply.
