According to reports, Derby County are willing to sell Tom Ince to Newcastle for £10 million. The midfielder is set to be sold in order to help boost Derby’s transfer plans ahead of next season.
The Magpies had a bid rejected for the 25-year-old during the January transfer window, however their chances of signing him during the summer will be good especially considering that they will be plying their trade in the Premier League next season.
Ince was in good form and ever-present for Derby this season, scoring 15 goals and providing 8 assists from 50 matches in all competitions.
Ince will definitely feel that now is the right time to play in the Premier League. Though he will likely have to compete for a place in the Newcastle first team, Ince will be a good addition to Rafa Benitez’s team and provide a good addition to the team’s attack.
