Adrian issues a surprising ultimatum to West Ham United

West Ham goalkeeper Adrian has revealed that West Ham must start improving in the Premier League or he will consider moving away from the club.

The 30-year-old Adrian said, “I want to know the intentions of the club about me and see their project. We must fight for higher targets and not just for staying in the Premier League. This is my fourth season here and I want to fight for something else.”

Though Adrian’s current deal at the London Stadium expires at the end of this season, Slaven Bilic’s side are expected to activate a clause in the goalkeeper’s contract that will see it being extended by another two years.

The Spanish international was first choice for the Hammers during the 2015-16 as they impressively finished the league in seventh position.

After some unconvincing performances during the early stages of this season, Adrian lost his first choice position to Darren Randolph which has since been recovered.
