Brendan Rodgers reveals what else he hopes Celtic accomplishes this season

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has praised the mentality of his plays, after they claimed a 3-1 victory over Aberdeen on Friday, to reach 100 points in the Scottish League.

Goals from Dedryck Boyata, Stuart Armstrong and Leigh Griffiths which all came within 11 minutes were enough to seal the three points for Rodgers’ men.

A delighted Rodgers said after the match, “It’s an incredible achievement. Our targets going into the game were could we get 100 points? And could we now get 100 goals?”

The Bhoys currently boast 99 League goals and with two League games still to play, they are bound to exceed 100 goals this season. They will then play in a rematch against Aberdeen during the Scottish Cup final.

Considering that they managed to dominate The Dandies at their own home ground, there is no doubt that Celtic will go into the final as favorites to continue their trophy winning run.
