West Ham captain Mark Noble has said that his club’s wins over Tottenham, Crystal Palace and Swansea are what helped his club avoid relegation this season.

The Hammers have had a mixed season, during which they briefly flirted with relegation. Depending on the outcomes of the final Premier League games, they could finish anywhere between 8th and 16th this season.

The 30 year old Noble said, “After Friday night, the weekend I had was pretty special. I’m still getting over Friday now to be honest with you, it was amazing. As I said, when we needed each other this year – the players and fans – against Swansea, against Crystal Palace and the Spurs game as well, we’ve been together and we’ve got results.”

The win over Spurs last week means that the East London club are confirmed to have a place in the Premier League next season. They will definitely be doing a lot of business during the summer as they look to bolster their side.
