Leeds United defender in talks over departure from Elland Road

The agent of Leeds United outcast Giuseppe Bellusci has revealed that his client is looking to make his loan deal to Serie A club Empoli permanent.

After a rather disappointing end to life at Elland Road, Bellusci looks to have rediscovered good form with Empoli and is seemingly more settled back in his home country.

The 27 year old’s agent, Michelangelo Minieri said to TuttoMercatoWeb, “He’s on loan with the right of redemption for Empoli, we’ll talk soon with the club. We will reason and we will face Empoli to understand the ideas and decide together what to do.”

Bellusci joined the Whites from Catania in 2014 and failed to live up to the high expectations many had of him. He only managed to show glimpses of brilliance and was also thought to be a troublemaker at the club. Many fans of the club were relieved to see him leave the club.
