Leeds United star says the Whites are not feeling the pressure

Leeds United winger Kemar Roofe has admitted that his team mates are currently not feeling pressure as they did not expect to be where they are now at the start of the season. The 24 year old said, “None of us feel pressure because no-one expected this at the start of the season.”

The Whites have surprised many this season by being in the running for the promotion playoffs.  Roofe was brilliant for the Whites this weekend as he scored a goal and set up another for Pablo Hernandez as they secured a 3-0 win over Preston North End at Elland Road.

For the Yorkshire side, the win means that they now have a five point lead over seventh placed Fulham and will be expected to participate in the Championship playoffs.

Gary Monk’s side currently sit on 72 points and only once in the past decade has a team needed more than 75 points to qualify for the playoffs.
