West Ham star Manuel Lanzini has said that he wishes for Slaven Bilic remains as manager of the club. After five successive defeats in the Premier League, speculation began to develop that the Hammers may be looking for a new manager.
However after securing a 1-0 win over Swansea City on Saturday, the pressure on Bilic will subside at least for now.
After joining West Ham from Al Jazira Club in 2015, Lanzini has established himself as arguably the most influential player in the squad.
The 24 year old has now explained that he wishes for Bilic to remain at the club, saying, “He is a big part of the reason I signed for the club and has always treated me very well so I am very grateful to him for that.
“It is not my decision about Slaven’s future but he led the club to a great season last year and I am very grateful to him. I would love him to stay.”
