Pumas UNAM is coming from a huge 2-1 win against Santos Laguna at the Estadio Olimpico Universitario in week 9 of the Clausura. Before that win, the felines had not won in six games in all competitions, having three losses in that span. Paco Palencia has led his team to 14 points in the Clausura in seventh place, just behind on goal differential to Atlas in sixth.
Pumas is an intriguing team that can compete for the title this Clausura, having one of the best players in the league. Nicolas Castillo has had a marvelous debut campaign in the Liga MX, scoring six goals and one assist so far. Castillo is one of the most intriguing players in the league right now, he will be the main player to look out for in this match. The match should be one of the best in the Clausura with both teams needing the three points from this game as the league is highly contested this Clausura and a loss can hurt the chances of making the playoffs.
