The Irish Examiner has claimed that Leeds United have signed Paudie O’ Connor from League of Ireland club Limerick. It is believed that O’ Connor has already signed the contract which is set to run for two and a half years, until the summer of 2019.
The 19-year-old himself also took to social media to say goodbye and thank his former club. O’Connor wrote on his personal Twitter account, “Would like to thank everybody at Limerich FC for the last 2-and-a-half years.
“Been an amazing time there and always loves representing the jersey and I’m very grateful to Martin and the club for the opportunity to play senior football.”

It remains to be seen whether the Peacocks will choose to use O’Connor in their under-23 development team or include him in the first team. More information regarding the clubs plans for him will probably be revealed during the summer.
