During an interview with BBC Radio Leeds, midfielder Eunan O’ Kane indicated that he believes that the Whites have not reached their best this season despite being promotion candidates.
Gary Monk’s side lie fourth on the Championship standings and are in with a chance of returning to the Premier League for the first time since 2004. They have surprised many with their gutsy performances this season.
The win over Sheffield Wednesday in their last league match helped them build a seven point lead between themselves and seventh place Fulham.
While O’Kane was happy that his side won, he indicated that it was not their best performance. He said, “I don’t think you’ve seen the best of us at either end of the pitch against Sheffield Wednesday.
“We weren’t particularly great attacking wise, we didn’t create a huge amount of chances, but the thing I would say, is that we didn’t give up too many chances.”
