According to reports, West Ham may offload Andy Carroll to a Chinese club before the end of the month.
The Sun have claimed that Hammers co-owner David Sullivan will allow a sale and that three clubs from the far-east are interested in luring the England international.
Hammers manager Slaven Bilic is thought to be frustrated at the 28-year-old’s lack of availability due to injury problems and is keen to cash in by selling him before the Chinese transfer window closes on Tuesday.
Carroll currently earns £130,000 a week at West Ham United and the club is also keen to cut down their expenditure.
This is rather surprising news. Carroll is certainly injury prone but he has been on fine form this season when he was fit so much so that many felt that he should be recalled to the England national team.
That said, the striker is injury prone, which has hampered him throughout his career at 28, and this may be the best time for the North London club to cash in on a sale.
