Chris Sutton gives a very good reason why Celtic star should snub Chelsea

Celtic forward Moussa Dembele has impressed for the Scottish club this season by bagging 26 goals in 41 matches after arriving from English club Fulham during the summer of 2016 and has reportedly become a target of Premier League giants Chelsea.

However, former Celtic striker turned pundit Chris Sutton has warned Dembele against joining the Premier League leaders.

Sutton has cited the example of Michy Batshuayi to explain what may happen to Dembele if he decides to join the London club.

Batshuayi joined Chelsea from Marseille during the summer of 2016 for a figure believed to be in excess of £33 million.

But, Batshuayi has endured a disappointing season, scoring just one goal and creating only one chance from 16 Premier League matches.

“Let me be clear on this, Dembele would be better served staying at the club for at least another year and a half,” Sutton wrote in The Daily Record.

“If he needs an example, he need only look onto the bench at Stamford Bridge every week and see Michy Batshuayi.”
