Leeds United striker Stuart Dallas is ready to face increased competition for a place in the team.
After joining the Whites during the summer of 2015 from Brentford, Dallas made 45 during his first season bagging five goals and several assists.
The 25-year-old also helped the Northern Ireland national team surprise many during the 2016 European Championships in France by reaching the quarter finals.
Due to the increased competition for a place up front this season though, Dallas has only managed 16 appearances and to make matters worse for the attacker, Monk decided to bring in Madou Barrow and Alfonso Pedraza during January to add additional forward options.
Rather than complaining though, Dallas believes that the increased competition he faces can only be a good thing.
“I think it brings out the best in players,” he explained to the Yorkshire Evening Post, “Different games suit different styles of players and all the wingers have different attributes.“Maybe next week it will be different wingers who start, who knows?”
