Celtic forward Nadir Ciftci has signed for Polish side Pogon Szczecin until the end of June.

The 25-year-old reportedly flew into Poland on Thursday to put pen-to-paper on the deal and complete his medical.

The move was announced by the Polish club on their official Twitter account.

The Turkish footballer, who signed for the Celts from Dundee United in 2015, has failed to impress during his time with the club.

His only league appearance came as a substitute in the 5-2 win over St Johnstone earlier this month.

Ciftci was linked to a move to Holland in the January transfer window, but a move never transpired. His last-minute move to Motherwell also fell through before he finally found an opportunity to play in Poland.

The transfer window in Poland closed on 28 February which enabled the striker to change clubs in search of regular playing time.  Pogon currently sit in the seventh spot in the league table.
