Leeds United receive huge injury boost regarding star man

Leeds have received a boost after Kemar Roofe was given the all clear to return to the Leeds team after he sustained a rib injury.

The midfielder was forced to skip Leeds’ 2-1 loss against Huddersfield due to the injury that he sustained during the team’s victory over Blackburn Rovers.

Leeds sent Roofe to a specialist to assess the extent of his injury and manager Gary Monk confirmed that scans have proven that no serious injuries were sustained.

Monk went on to confirm that Roofe has been training ahead of the game against Cardiff City at Elland Road on Saturday.

Roofe has been impressive for Leeds this season as they push for promotion to the Premier League, his return will certainly be a good thing for the club.

Leeds though will remain without the services of Charlie Taylor who has been out since mid-December due to an achilles problem. Gaetano Berardi is likely to continue playing out of position at left back.
