Pumas UNAM are yet to lose at the Olimpico Universitario in this Clausura 2017, most recently coming from a convincing 3-1 victory against Necaxa at C.U. The Mexico City team seems to be on the right patch in this competition with one of the most imposing defenses of the tournament. New signing, Nicolas Castillo has also added a world of depth to its attacking options.
Young ‘canteranos’ like Alan Mendoza and Jesus Gallardo have really been the main attraction at Pumas UNAM. All of this with someone like Paco Palencia leading the charge, who is a manager the players can get behind makes Pumas a contender to take home the Clausura 2017 title.
