Report: Nottingham Forest ready to sell high profile name

Nottingham Forest are considering selling Nicklas Bendtner according to reports from Danish outlet BT. Bendtner is among the highest paid players at Forest and the recent failure of a takeover ownership attempt from America might convince the club’s board that it may be best to let the former Arsenal player go.

With Forest fans having had high hopes on him, Bendtner has failure to display impressive performances on a regular basis and has also been hampered by injury problems.

Since joining from Budesliga club, VFL Wolfsburg, Bendtner has turned out 17 times for Forest but only managed to bag 2 goals. Forest will be looking to find a buyer or loan deal for the player. However considering his form, previous history and salary demands, they might have to keep him until the summer.

Should Bendtner wish to remain at the club and want to convince the Forest faithful that he is worth the salary, he will have to improve considerably.
