Chelsea and Liverpool will have to consider other centre back options as Bayern Munich confirm that they will sign Niklas Sule in the summer, according to the Sun.
The German giants won the race to sign the 21 year old after reports suggested he may move to a Premier League club. Sule will see out the remainder of the season with current club Hoffenheim before moving to Munich at the end of the season.
Sule’s move was in doubt last month due to Hoffenheim’s asking price of £22 million but an agreement was reached and he signed a deal until 2022. He did admit that he was “a little wistful” about leaving Hoffenheim after being a product of its youth ranks.
His club team-mate Sebastian Rudy will also join him in moving to Bayern Munich. The 26 year old whose contract with Hoffenheim was due to expire in the summer, has signed a deal with the German giants until 2020.
