West Ham’s wantaway midfielder Dimitri Payet has been linked with a move to Chelsea.

Yesterday, the Hammers boss Slaven Bilic revealed in his press conference that the France international wants an exit from the club, and he has refused to play for them.

Today, in an exclusive report, the Sun has claimed that Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has turned his attention towards Payet after missing out on Bayer Munich’s Arturo Vidal.

The Italian manager has money to burn this month after selling Oscar to Shanghai SIPG for £60million.

At the moment, Payet’s former club Marseille seem to be leading the race to secure his services. Reliable French publication L’Equipe, today, claimed that the Ligue 1 club have already reached an agreement with the 29-year-old.

It remains to be seen whether the Blues would contemplate hijacking Marseille’s move for their former player. Payet’s current deal with the East London club runs until 2021.
