Former Manchester United star and current Juventus left back Patrice Evra is likely to return to his former club according to the Sun (via reports from Italy).
In fact, the news outlet is even stating that Evra’s return to Manchester United is “imminent”, and that Juventus is already searching for his replacement.
Evra is now 35 years old, but his current club is reportedly upset that he is focusing too much on social media, and not enough on his production on the pitch.
Evra has only made six league appearance for Juventus so far this season, but he has started six Champions League games for the club. He may not be quite the same player that he used to be, but he would certainly be a quality addition to the squad.
According to reports, Juventus is unhappy with Evra, so this signing seems to be fairly likely to happen. If so, Evra will add depth and experience to this Manchester United defense, but it is unlikely that he will come in and be in the starting XI on a regular basis.
