West Ham are preparing to make another approach to sign Hull City winger Robert Snodgrass. The Tigers have already rejected an initial bid of a £3million from the Hammers for their player. However, the East London club haven’t ended their interest in the 29-year-old and are planning to knock on the Tigers’ door with a new offer.
The Mirror claims that the Hammers are planning to offer striker Ashley Fletcher as a makeweight in a possible deal.
West Ham are confident that a combined offer of £2million and Fletcher would be enough to persuade Hull into selling their star player.
Snodgrass has been the standout player for the bottom-placed team this season and has scored seven league goals in 19 appearances.
Meanwhile, Fletcher has failed to score in 11 league appearances for the Hammers following his summer move from Man Utd. He did manage to score against his former club in the 4-1 League Cup defeat in November.
