The Liga Bancomer MX posted on their official Youtube page the ‘Top 10’ best saves by goalkeepers during the Liga MX Apertura 2016 season. The list includes nine different players having Necaxa’s Marcelo Barovero appear twice. Of those nine, four are from Argentina, three from Mexico, one Mexican-American, and one from Brazil.
Here is a quick recount of the ten best saves:
10. Agustin Marchesin from Santos Laguna vs Tigres
9. Marcelo Barovero from Necaxa vs Monarcas Morelia
8. Nahuel Guzman from Tigres vs Club America
7. William Yarbrough from Leon vs Chiapas
6. Tiago Volpi from Queretaro vs Atlas
5. Alfredo Talavera from Toluca vs Xolos of Tijuana
4. Moises Muñoz from Club America vs Necaxa
3. Federico Vilar from Xolos of Tijuana vs Monterrey
2. Jesus Corona from Cruz Azul vs Club America
