Manchester United are interested in Paul Pogba, but they are yet to contact Juventus over a deal for the French international midfielder, according to the BBC.
The report claims United are yet to firm up their interest in Pogba, who’s determined not to allow any distractions ahead of the European Championship final against Portugal on Sunday.
Pogba is being heavily linked with a world-record €120m move to Manchester United this summer, but it seems like the United fans will need to stay patient.
Any deal for Pogba would probably have to wait until he returns from his post-Euro 2016 holiday.
The 23-year-old midfielder, who spent 3 years at Manchester United before leaving for Juventus in 2012, is also believed to be attracting the attention of European champions Real Madrid, but it appears as though United are leading the race for his signature.
It seems like Jose Mourinho is determined to bring the player back to Old Trafford this summer and Manchester United certainly have more than enough financial resources to make the deal happen, even if it means breaking the transfer record for a player they lost on a free transfer 4 years ago.
