Manchester United reportedly reach agreement with 23-year-old star

Paul Pogba

Manchester United have reached an agreement in principle with Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba, according to Sky Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.

The report claims Manchester United have agreed to pay Pogba €13m a season after taxes and will offer Juventus €120m for the midfielder once Euro 2016 finishes.

United are believed to be determined to secure Pogba’s signature this summer and it appears as though they’re prepared to break the world transfer record to bring the player back to Old Trafford.

Jose Mourinho is thought to be keen to strengthen the team even further and it seems like the Portuguese manager has identified Pogba as the man to add some much-needed energy, power and creativity to United’s midfield.

Signing Pogba would be a huge statement of intent from Manchester United. The club has done a fantastic business in this transfer window so far andPogba’s acquisition would strengthen the belief that the English giants are determined to get back to the top of English and European football.

Even though Pogba is one of Juventus’ key players, it’s hard to imagine the Italian champions rejecting an offer of €120m, especially if United have a deal in place with the player.
