As the Mirror reports (via Daily Express), Croatian winger Marko Pjaca could be heading to Liverpool.
Pjaca is currently a member of Dinamo Zagreb, biggest football club in Croatia, and he managed to score eight goals in 28 appearances last season. Knowing this, we can easily see that he was one of the most important players for Croatian club.
However, it’s not his club performances that caught the eye of Liverpool, because it seems like his stunning display at the 2016 Euros was the main reason for Jurgen Klopp’s interest.
On the other hand, Liverpool is not the only club interested in signing the 21-year-old winger. Inter Milan, Fiorentina and AC Milan are also joining the race, but at least for now, it looks like Pjaca is keen on moving to the Premier League over the Serie A.
One thing is for sure, though, Liverpool is slowly becoming a place for young players to show their full potential, and under Jurgen Klopp’s guidance, Pjaca could become one of the leading Premier League wingers in years to come. Everything Liverpool needs to do now is to persuade Pjaca that they are the right choice for him, and they have two months left for this task.
