Report: Manchester United continue with their efforts to sign two Raiola clients

Mkhitaryan

According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United are in talks with agent Mino Raiola over the signing of two of his clients – Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Romano, who works for The Guardian, Sky Italia and Gianluca Di Marzio, is reporting that talks between the Red Devils and the 48-year-old agent are ongoing as the English giants are working hard to bring Ibrahimovic and Mkhitaryan to Old Trafford this summer.

Ibrahimovic, who’s believed to be set for a medical at Old Trafford next month, is available on a free transfer this summer.

The 34-year-old striker opted to leave French champions Paris Saint-Germain after a 4-year spell at the club.

Mkhitaryan’s move to United appears to be more complicated. Even though he doesn’t want to renew his contract with Borussia Dortmund, the Germans are refusing to sanction his sale this summer as they don’t want to lose yet another key player.

It appears as though Ibrahimovic and Mkhitaryan are two of Mourinho’s major transfer targets this summer, but Mino Raiola obviously holds the key to any potential deal.
