Arsenal is reportedly interested in signing Inter Milan forward Stevan Jovetic, according to the Mirror (via Sportsmedianet). Inter are apparently looking to sell Jovetic for £11.5 million, with Arsenal and Sparta Moscow being reported as two of the top suitors.
Jovetic has had some very good seasons in Serie A. He scored 14 goals in Serie A during the 2011/2012 season for Fiorentina and he scored an additional 13 league goals for Fiorentina the next season.
Despite his past successes, last season was not the best for Jovetic. He played 26 games in Serie A last season for Inter, tallying only 6 goals and 2 assists.
Jovetic will probably not be a star player if he comes to Arsenal, but he would be useful. At the very least, he would provide depth at the striker position for the Gunners, and if he finds his old form he would be a good signing.
If Arsenal is truly interested in Jovetic, then a move to the Emirates would be very possible. They have the money to sign him and they could use some depth at striker.
