The second-leg of the Monterrey vs Tigres UANL during the Liga MX Clausura 2016 quarterfinals will be held this Saturday, May 14, 2016 (5:00 PM Pacific) at the Estadio BBVA Bancomer. This ‘Clasico Regio’ is expected to be a very close encounter between these two Nuevo Leon rivals where the winner will move into the semifinals.

Last Wednesday, Rayados of Monterrey visited the Estadio Universitario in a game which was dominated by the home side Tigres. Yet, Monterrey came out with a very valuable 3-1 which greatly imporved their qualification probability into the next round.

Tigres knows that his team must win at least 3-0 to win the series, but considering Monterrey’s form this season, that will be very difficult. Nonetheless, expec this match to be exciting, with a lot of goals and a Tigres side who will attack from the first whistle. Stay tuned!
