Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has emerged as a target for German Bundesliga side Wolfsburg, according to reports from French publication Foot Mercato
Giroud started off the season in brilliant fashion but his form has dipped dramatically since the turn of the year and the Frenchman has now failed to find the back of the net in the Premier League since January 13th.
Giroud likely for Arsenal exit
The poor run of form seems to have certainly tested the patience of the Arsenal faithful and it has recently been suggested that even manager Arsene Wenger is open to allowing the Frenchman to leave over the summer.
Despite his slump, a number of clubs are still said to be interested in securing the services of Giroud and now according to reports from Foot Mercato, claims have been made that Wolfsburg want to sign the 29-year old.

Having recently allowed former Arsenal man Nicklas Bendtner to leave on a free transfer, Wolfsburg are planning to bring in a replacement this summer and have identified Giroud as their number one target, with the German giants ready to offer the French international a lucrative contract worth £100,000 per week.
