This was a must-win game for Santos, and things didn’t look good for them when Cruz Azul took the lead in the first half. However, Santos recovered and scored two goals in the second half that ultimately gave them the three key points. Santos must win its last match against Morelia, and hope that Chivas doesn’t win both its games. Cruz Azul still needs to at least tie its last match against Monterrey, or risk elimination.
