The youngsters have been very effective for Manchester United this season, as a majority of the senior squad players have been out due to injuries. Louis van Gaal praises the efforts of Warren Joyce, who has prepared amazing youth products and has led them to clinch the U-21 League title.
Warren has worked on Manchester United’s Youth and Reserves Teams, creating fine players who have performed well, even with the first team. “It’s very important. The development of youth players”, van Gaal told MUTV, adding “He [Joyce] is also playing with a lot of youth players and not especially Under-21 players but also with 18-year-olds.”
The Red Devils’ boss has appreciated the work Joyce and his team has done on youngsters and even made them capable enough to play and perform well in the senior team, as we have seen this season.
Manchester United has given an opportunity to youngsters like Marcus Rashford and Fosu-Mensah who have performed well for them, having come from United’s youth academy.
