Joe Allen and Jorden Ibe have emerged as shock transfer targets for the Premier League Newcomers Watford, as per Guardian.

Although Ibe enjoyed a fruitful first half of this Season under Brendan Rodgers, the arrival of Jurgen Klopp has limited the game time for the 20-year-old English winger. He has managed just 6-starts out of the 16-appearances that he made under Klopp.

Joe Allen is surprisingly suffering from the same problem which Ibe has encountered in the past few months. He has made just 11-appearances in the Premier League this Season – with his most recent appearance coming in a 3-2 defeat away at Southampton.

In addition to the lack of game time, the contractual situation of Joe Allen might also tempt the Welshman to consider his options. He will enter into the last 12-months of his Liverpool contract in the summer and the club still hasn’t made a move to extend his contract.

Despite all such reports, an exit for Jordan Ibe from Liverpool seems highly unlikely. The 20-year-old still has his best years ahead of him. And with Liverpool short of options on the wing, Jurgen Klopp might look to keep hold of Ibe beyond this summer.

However, this might not be the case with Allen who will turn 27 next March. And with Mario Gotze considering a move to Liverpool, this summer might be the last one for Allen in Liverpool colors.
