An Italian news source is reporting that Arsenal are looking to sign 29-year-old AC Milan forward Carlos Bacca to be a replacement for Alexis Sanchez if the Chilean does decide to leave the club. Bacca, who played for Seville before moving to Milan, is reported to have the interest of several other European teams.
The Colombian forward has managed to score 16 goals in 34 matches this season, but has had more impressive seasons at Seville, and now has over 200 goals since the start of his career. He could be the talent needed to replace Sanchez, who rumour says is not particularly happy with life in London.
The 27-year old Sanchez has reportedly expressed frustration at a disappointing season as well as unfair criticism directed at him from the press, and if a transfer deal elsewhere does happen, it looks like Bacca is at the top of the list to replace him.
