Manchester United are keen on making a whopping £115million double swoop for Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos, according to reports from Fichajes (as cited by the Metro)

Manchester United have shown signs of recovery in recent times and following the hard fought 1-0 victory over Watford on Wednesday night, the Red Devils are right back into contention to earn a place in one of the Champions League positions.

Whether or not United finish in the top four this season, it is clear that they will need to significantly strengthen the squad during the upcoming summer in order to mount a challenge for the Premier League title next season.

United may well decide to dispense with the services of manager Louis van Gaal at the end of the current campaign but it is expected that whoever will come in next at Old Trafford, he will be handed a large transfer war chest to recruit new players.

Ramos and Ronaldo finally heading to United?

As a result, a host of names have already started being linked with a move to United and now according to reports from Spanish publication Fichajes, the Red Devils will be reigniting their pursuit of Real Madrid duo Sergio Ramos and Cristiano Ronaldo in the summer.

Like United, even Real Madrid are expected to go through wholesale changes during the summer and the future of Ramos and Ronaldo at the Santiago Bernabeu has been put into doubt as a result.

It is no secret that United are long time admirers of Ramos and Ronaldo, and Fichajes claim that the Red Devils are now ready to splash as much as £115million to lure the two superstars to Old Trafford next season.
