Arsenal are keen on offering veteran midfielder Mathieu Flamini a brand new contract, according to reports from the Football Insider
Whether or not they win the Premier League title this season, Arsenal are expected to go through a major overhaul of their squad during the summer and veterans such as Mikel Arteta and Tomas Rosicky are expected to leave the Emirates Stadium.
Mathieu Flamini is another ageing player believed to be on his way out of Arsenal at the end of the season as his contract with the North London club is set to expire within the next five months.

However, Flamini has played a prominent role for Arsenal over the past few months following the absence of Francis Coquelin with injury and it has been claimed that the Gunners are now considering handing the Frenchman a brand new contract.
According to reports from the Football Insider, the Arsenal hierarchy have been impressed by Flamini’s performances during the last 12 weeks and are ready to offer the 32-year old a brand new deal till the end of the next season.
Flamini is also said to be keen on extending his stay at Arsenal and the midfielder is surely set to put pen to paper if the offer arrives.
