After Elneny signing, Arsenal to bid £10million for another international midfielder

Arsenal are now plotting a move to bring back Oguzhan Ozyakup following the signing of Mohamed Elneny, according to reports from the Metro

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger confirmed after his side’s 3-3 draw against Liverpool that Mohamed Elneny is all but set to finally arrive at the Emirates Stadium on a reported £7million deal.

Ozyakup set for Arsenal return?

Elneny’s signing comes as a boost for Arsenal but in addition to the Egyptian international, Wenger wants to bring in another midfielder due to the long term injuries suffered by the likes of Jack Wilshere, Francis Coquelin and Tomas Rosicky.

A host of names continue to be linked with a move to Arsenal and now according to reports from the Metro, it has been claimed that Wenger is plotting a move to bring back Oguzhan Ozyakup to the Emirates Stadium in the coming days.

Ozyakup left Arsenal for Besiktas back in the summer of 2012 for just £500,000 after struggling to break into the Gunners’ first team and the Turkish international has since developed into one of the finest midfielders around in European football.

As a result, Ozyakup has been widely touted to be making a move to some of the top clubs around Europe and Arsenal are said to be hoping to lure the 23-year old back to North London by placing a bid in the region of around £9.3million.
