As you can see in the scenarios described above, it is nearly impossible for Costa Rica to not make it to the final round. If El Salvador were to surpass Costa Rica somehow, it would qualify as the soccer miracle of the decade.

Guyana has only earned one point so far, and there’s little chance they will play a perfect game against Costa Rica, when they really have nothing to play for.
