Xolos was in full control of this match, and got a deserved 1-0 victory over one of the best teams in the Liga MX. However, Xolos was good enough to have won by a two or three goal margin, but were unlucky. Xolos now finds itself in first place with 27 points, one ahead of Toluca.
Xolos is now considered a favorite to win the championship and to play in the Copa Libertadores. A fantastic season so far for the team from Tijuana.
