More Samba flair at the Bridge – Chelsea to make double Brazilian swoop

Chelsea are reportedly planning a double swoop for Douglas Costa and Talisca this summer

Despite Chelsea’s dominating Premier League triumph last season, manager Jose Mourinho is keen on strengthening his side this summer and a couple of names have been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge over the past few weeks.

Players such as Paul Pogba and Radamel Falcao have been strongly touted with a move in recent weeks and now according to reports, it has been claimed that the Blues are also interested in signing Brazilian duo Douglas Costa and Talisca.

Costa could be set for Chelsea move

Douglas Costa has long been linked with a move to Chelsea and now according to reports from Sambafoot, the Blues are close to agreeing a deal for the midfielder with Shakhtar Donetsk.

A fee of around €27million has been touted for Costa and the transfer looks likely to come into fruition this summer.

Talisca open to Chelsea move

Another player on Chelsea’s radar is Benfica star Talisca. Mourinho publicly stated his admiration for Talisca last season but any hopes of a transfer were scuppered due to work permit problems.

Now reports from the Express state that Mourinho is keen on revisiting his interest in Talisca and the central midfielder is also open to making a move to Chelsea.
