Possible Manchester United Lineup vs West Brom – Januzaj Still Out

With the international break giving David Moyes some time out of the spotlight, the final push begins as United try to salvage anything from their season. As well as giving consideration to his line up for United’s game against a struggling West Brom side, Moyes has taken time to personally write and apologize to the season ticket holders at Old Trafford, and promise them that things will get better. This move, it seems, is largely targeted at attempting to get some to renew for next year, it is yet to be seen if it will have the desired effect.

As United’s international players came back relatively unscathed, Moyes is likely to start with Smalling at centre back, after Ferdinand’s nightmare in Olympiakos, while Fletcher and Fellaini will be battling it out for a start in the centre of midfield.

Rooney was ineffective in mid-week for England, but has been United’s only form player this year, with the exception of Januzaj, who Moyes has been reluctant to start in the last month or so.

The one question mark is over Van Persie. More speculation was thrown around during the international break that United’s talismanic striker is so down with things at Old Trafford that he is unlikely to wish to remain there next year. Watch this space….

It’s another must win for United, but, for them, every game is from now until the end of the season. It seems Moyes will be given at least until Christmas this year to turn things around, a win against. West Brom would be a start. If United lose or draw it will be yet another disturbing moment, and with some tough games coming up, things are only to get worse for the Scot.
