Manchester United Left-back Patrice Evra has remained coy over his future at the club, insisting that he is fully focused on the present. The French international is believed to be among veteran heads that are set to part ways with the Old Trafford club in the summer.

Despite skipper Nemanja Vidic confirming his departure at the end of his current contract in the summer, Evra- who has played for the premier league champions for seven years- has down-played all exit claims.

Speaking during an interview with French television RMC Sport, Evra said:
“I love Manchester. When my love will be broken with Manchester, I will study the possibilities.”

The former AS Monaco man added: “I am only thinking about the present. In May I will be 33 years old, I really want to have fun at the next World Cup, enjoy every moment and give my all.”

Should Evra decide to leave the red devils, he could be open for a move back to his former club Monaco or big spending PSG, although he could choose to join team-mate Vidic who is likely to join Serie A side Inter Milan.

Asked on their struggling form since the managerial switch at Manchester United in May last year, Evra said: “There was a big change, it must be digested – nobody likes change.”

The stand-in United captain however reiterated their will to play in the Champions League next season by stating: “It [the team] is behind the new manager, we will do everything to qualify for the next Champions League.”

Let’s be clear, a player who wants to remain at a club he loves would not wait until his contract runs out to think about staying, Evra is yet another player who wants out of United.
